Terms of Service

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use Lynkli. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 16, you may not use the service.

In EU member states where the digital age of consent is higher than 16 under national GDPR implementation, the higher age applies. If you are under the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use this service.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not impersonate another person or use a misleading username.
• One person may operate one account. Automated account creation is not permitted.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Lynkli to:

• Post, link to, or distribute illegal content
• Share malware, phishing links, or deceptive URLs
• Upload images that contain nudity, violence, gore, self-harm, or other prohibited content (images are automatically screened)
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service beyond normal use
• Artificially inflate analytics (profile views, link clicks)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on Lynkli (links, profile information, images). By posting content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display and distribute that content as part of the service (e.g. showing your profile page to visitors).

We do not claim ownership of your content. If you delete your account, your content is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Content moderation

Uploaded images (avatars and background images) are automatically scanned by a third-party content moderation service (SightEngine) to detect prohibited content. Images that are flagged will be rejected. By uploading images, you acknowledge and consent to this automated screening.

7. Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon deletion:

• Your personal data is anonymised immediately
• Uploaded images are deleted immediately
• Your anonymised record is permanently purged after 30 days
• You may restore your account by logging in within the 30-day retention window

8. Service tiers

Lynkli offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid features are clearly marked and require an active subscription. We reserve the right to modify tier features and pricing with reasonable notice. Downgrading from a paid tier to free restricts access to paid-only features but does not delete any data previously collected.

9. Service availability

Lynkli is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lynkli and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The courts of Germany shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the website. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
